Woori America Bank Scholarship Foundation

Background:

Founded by Woori America Bank, a subsidiary of Woori bank in Korea, in 2004.  It will be the 9th year of its scholarship program this year.  In 2012, $2,000 each was awarded to 50 students, and $900,000 was paid amongst 500 students since the inception of the program.

Eligibility:

1. A citizen or permanent resident of the United States
2. High school senior at the time of application
3. Academic achievement of 3.2 GPA or higher
4. SAT score of 1,800 or higher
